The group meets together at the Edington Arms, pub ( courtesy of Terry the Landlord ) that stands next to the Hindley railway station.
The group have worked really hard with restoration work on the Manchester bound platform.
Many people have commended the work the group has carried out to transform the appearance of the station.
One of their discoveries on a cleanup day in June 2008 was this old ground sign.
The team set to work on it and beautifully restored it.
